Apple SE lit - superboyv1 - 05-03-2022 Hello, I paid a professional boxer to do me a FTID but he thought I would have gotten a PR so he did me a transit on my return (April 22nd). The package was supposed to be delivered in the Netherlands and it was wandering around in Germany as it was supposed to. I called Apple to start my SE and they told me they would investigate. They somehow managed to redirect the package to the right address and it was delivered on April 28th. So when the package was still in transit in Germany I got an email : We have not yet received your return package ********. In order for us to investigate the problem, please send us a copy of the proof of drop off/pick up that was given to you by the carrier. If you were not given a receipt when you dropped off your package, please provide us with the following information: Date and time the items were dropped off Address of the UPS facility Package description Tracking number Employee's description Any other related information etc... I completed and sent them the form. Nexte day, I got a call from Cork, Ireland, this number (+353 (21) 425 9200) but I couldn't pick up the phone and I received a vocal asking for the proof of deposit which I don't have because the ups acccess point don't give any. I called Apple twice this week and they always say the same thing, they would redirect my case to the right department. And yesterday, I got the same mail that I got last week (this time after the package was supposed to be delivered since the 28th). I called today asking why they send me the same stuff and to put pressure because i've got an important bill to pay and they told me the investigation department is going to call me very soon (the Irish number). I've got a few questions if someone can help me 1. Is it normal that it's taking that much time ? They can go deep in their investigations ? The rep on the phone told me that they were waiting for ups answer 2. I think the transit failed so they might have received the empty envelope from the boxer. I asked the boxer and he believes that they didn't receive anything hence they sent the same email again. What should I do if the investigation department tell me that they received an empty envelope? I know we're not supposed to admit any kind of fraud so I have to stick to my story. Should I ask them a pic of the empty envelope and obviously deny it ? 3. If they request me to fill a pr, knowing that I filled one in early 2021. Is it risky to fill another one ? Cops might check my previous cases and see that I filled a pr about a dna of 300€ from Amazon (headset + airpods) and have a doubt about my honesty right ? 4. I have until the 5th to send the phone back (14 days rules), if it goes way too far, can I send it back after the 5th ? Thanks for any answer ![]() @mothered if you can help RE: Apple SE lit - Leonidas76 - 05-03-2022 I will try to answer your questions, but Mothered is probably more experienced and might have more details to add. 1. Yes, investigations can take very long to begin with. However, I do think the reps you've spoken failed to properly do their task and help the customer. You have provided all details needed and they keep referring you to a different department, that you cannot contact directly (right?). 2. If they have received an empty envelope, then they would have definitely confronted you with that. So I think your boxer is right, however if they do sent a message that they have received an empty envelope, then I do suggest asking for all evidence they have and then we can work from that onwards in this thread. But you are pretty f*cked when it gets to that, hence why I don't recommend using this technique. 3. Filing a police report is usually without consequences, they will do the paper work but that's about it. The reasoning is that they have better things to do, and if we believe your story to be true, then the police will probably think the post department messed something up and it is not worth spending the resources on that. Of course, the more files you report, the more suspicious the police might become. Yet if the nature of the report is different than the previous filing, then I wouldn't worry too much. 4. If I understand correctly, you already returned it (technically right, that's why you are SE'ing). So if you return it again that will definitely raise suspicion and might get your account flagged. RE: Apple SE lit - superboyv1 - 05-04-2022 Hey thank you for your answers ! Yes, i actually spoke to 6 reps. Every call I made (3), they kept redirecting me to another service. And the 3 reps I had a call with said that they don't have much information and the investigation service is going to contact me. They are probably the Irish number i refereed to in my first post. They left a vocal but it's in French and you would probably not understand what he says. It was someone who was pretty difficult to understand and his French wasn't the best. I tried to call back but it's a number I couldn't call back. You're probably right about it. When I got the call from the investigation department, the package was still in transit and since it was delivered to their address given the tracking, I have not received any news from this so-called department. But if they send me the evidence of the empty envelope, what can I do ? I will deny any fraud for obvious reason but I guess it can goes further than the simple pr, isn't it ? They are a billion $ company but they seem to be very annoying. To finish off, I could get the pr done if they ask me but I don't know how the police work. Won't they check my past records ? I don't want to return the package for suspicious reason but I don't want to lose 1.1k, that would be annoying. RE: Apple SE lit - Leonidas76 - 05-04-2022 Yes the reps have been negligent in responding to your problem, specifically. But it is not uncommon so don´t worry too much about that. I do find it weird they contact you by phone, is French your native language? Although it is common that Apple calls, I did expect them to contact you through e-mail after you didn't pick up the Irish phonecall. Well if they send evidence about the empty envelope, and it is through e-mail, we can work from there. If it is by phone, simply state you have no idea what they are talking about and that you would like to receive evidence to support their claim through e-mail. I don't know how the police works in your country either, but I would suggest looking this up and see if they allow for online filings. You are in the process of returning the phone and I would suggest waiting for that process to end. If it fails, you can always do a P/P dispute or CC chargeback RE: Apple SE lit - superboyv1 - 05-04-2022 Once again thanks for your answers. The rep on the phone asked me to give them my free time span so the investigation service can call me. Maybe they will call me today (May 4th). I will follow your advice and act like I don't know what they are talking about if they refer to a empty envelope, i'm just scared that they go very very far. I read some threads here where the investigation goes really really too far with Apple and the cops. I checked and I can fill an online police report (it would be in the non urgent report section). I actually think they won't give a f***. When I filled my first one, they seemed annoyed to do this task and I never heard back from them. Considering your opinion, I think that I won't send back the phone and fill a report if asked. If they don't want to refund even if the report is filled, I will cc chargeback but i'm afraid they will ban the IMEI. @mothered @"Canadian Moose" Can you give an opinion ? It would be appreciated RE: Apple SE lit - mothered - 05-04-2022 Quote: I paid a professional boxer to do me a FTIDI don't support the flawed so-called FTID (this thread clearly justifies why), so I won't comment on It. My advice: Refrain from using It In future. RE: Apple SE lit - superboyv1 - 05-04-2022 Okay now I understand, no problem. But I have a question, I have done multiple macbooks/iphones ftids (that you don't like) on Amazon with one account from 2015 on different domain : .de .fr .it . It always went pretty well, no pr and refunded pretty quickly. You're very experienced so I have multiple Amazon account created from diffrent IPs that are minimum 3/4-year-old, sometimes 6/7-year-old. What method should I use for macbooks or iPhone if I decide to ban ftids from my books ? RE: Apple SE lit - mothered - 05-04-2022 (05-04-2022, 03:25 AM)superboyv1 Wrote: What method should I use for macbooks or iPhoneThe method Is not a problem, there are many to choose from. When the time comes to formulate your SE, name either of the above Items and we'll take It from there. RE: Apple SE lit - Defeat - 05-04-2022 1 question, can't your boxer just photoshop the drop-off receipt for you? I feel like he probably can and has done it before.
