Excellent to read, well done.

As a matter of Interest, was It a smooth process from beginning to end?

Was reasonably easy. Did it through live chat on the product support bit. Furst night it arrived. I used fake photos the product claiming it had arrived badly broken. The women wanted me to send it back so to give me more time to think I said I’m not bothered about the condition as long as it works So she said to retry tomorrow. Next day I did the chat again saying the item was faulty and needed a refund. Obviously they wanted me to send the item back so this is where it got kinda hard. I firstly went on to saying I can’t send the item back as I live in a rural area. With no public transport and no local post office. Closest post office isn’t within walking distance and that I don’t drive. She then went on to push the item being picked up from my home. I got around this by saying I work from early morning to late at night Monday to Saturday. Meaning there would never be a time I was home. After about an hour back and forth of them trying to push one of these options they eventually gave in and said they’d refund without the need to send the item back. To sound more genuinely I got into detail about why I bought it and how badly it had effected me that it arrived broke expressing it was for my work computer now causing me to fall behind. Going onto saying the fall behind at work has caused me a bit of stress. But just received the refund about 5 minutes ago. Overall happy with how it went.

A job very well done Indeed.

You formulated and executed your SE exceptionally well, and adapted to changes along the way In a very effective manner.

In 178$ price point it is quite smooth to SE a CPU, I believe. I would like to try the extreme price point, around 500+$ which I will be providing you all the full walkthrough of my experience whether it is a fail or not in the future, when new ryzen generation is out. I hope to see the same result as you did, although I don't trust myself it's gonna success so I am preparing a plan B, too..

As a matter of Interest, what method did you use?

Will use, I am sorry if my english was bad but this was meant to be a post about what I'm planning to do - empty box of course, I will choose a cpu which comes without cooler, they are usually 70ish grams.
"My package arrived but, when I was excited and ready to install it, there was nothing in it! Just the box and I'm sure I ordered the cpu." - as if I've received an item that was SEd before via sealed box method. The only downside is that when the new ryzens come out, I will have to wait a couple months before doing this method.

No need to apologize, It's no problem whatsoever.

Your method Is perfectly planned and a well-thought-out execution. No doubt you're already aware, but Is the box fully enclosed without any form of visibility of Its contents? That Is, no clear window/film that exposes what's Inside?

It's not yet known how it is gonna be. There's a high chance it is gonna be visible, although nobody can prove me it was there when I received it. Or can they?

The Issue Is, If they have CCTV cameras In place, then the footage may show Its contents.

Also, they can simply say that the storeperson physically viewed the Item prior to packaging, and confirmed It was correct- even though nothing of the sort happened. In short, the company can use It to their advantage and decline the claim. As such, there's very little you can do If they state that It was cross-checked before dispatch.

All the above may never happen, I'm just providing the possibilities that can lead to a failed SE. If I was the claims representative, I'd use all this to refuse a refund/replacement.

I would ask them to get me the CCTV recording where I can clearly see the label of my package, if they would fail to do so, I would be winning.
The other option however is a conflict, I agree - I say it wasn't there, they say it was there. No idea how I would approach this situation.
