Amazon EB vs DNA? #1
As a thought experiment, let's say

I have an item I'd like to SE that's light enough for EB, not visible from the outside. But I've also never hit a DNA at this address.
Which method has the higher success rate? Let's say I'm prepared to file a PR as I haven't done one before.

Example item: Intel CPU (certain models not visible from outside) should weigh around 30-50 grams based on previous generations.
Which method is better?

EB or MEB?
CPUs are pretty lightweight, yet still come in bulky packaging.

EB could introduce possibility of them gathering data that would refute your claim.
DNA, when properly executed, is pretty hard to refute. You might create trouble for the driver tho.

If you're willing to file a PR, both methods have high chances of success.

Is MEB mostly empty box? I would just claim the CPU itself is missing, none of the packaging.
How would I properly execute the DNA? Sorry, I used to refer to mothered's blog on this but now that it's down I can't recall.
If I remember correctly I just claim the package didn't arrive as long as they didn't require signature. Is there anything else to it?

how about airpods or sum like that that doesn't weigh a lot? still applies or depends on how much the product costs?

Manufacturer Empty Box.
Yes, claiming you received the packaging but not its content is MEB.
To maximise chances of success, make sure the CPU is not visible from outside.

If you're in luck, driver dropping the package unattended is the best scenario.
Still, signature can be faked. The real killer would be OTP.

Personally I wouldnt hit @pple stuff.

Generally speaking, with Am@zon I dont think the method matters so much.
It's more about acc strength/age, order value & filling a PR.

The CPU has a case that's visible from the outside but not the CPU itself so should be fine.
Then my hypothetical plan is to try DNA, if they require signature/OTP proceed with MEB.
Prepared for PR. Order value ~$500 would that warrant a OTP typically?
Any other tips/things to watch out for?

No hard rule for OTP. Sometimes there's one required for 200$, sometimes not for 2000$.

Bad news is they want an OTP. Good news is it's arriving today. Will proceed with MEB.
