From experience; no company refunds delivery cost, as that money is payed to the carrier not the company.

Still, if the order didn't show up you should not be liable for those costs. If i didn't get anything it makes no sense for me to get a refund without the delivery charges included
Just my opinion though

You are correct.

When claiming nonreceipt of goods, the company opens an external Investigation with the carrier, and they open their very own Investigation. If their findings are In support of the buyer, they'll approve the claim and send the funds to the company, all related costs Included. The company will use those funds to reimburse/refund your account.

This is also applicable to shipping costs? Expedited shipping included? Every time I've tried to refund an expedited shipping order, it always refunded the item cost+tax, but never the $25 or whatever for the fast shipping.

trying to get the premium shipping costs seemed to always been an issue, never though it was worth to press it
Nothing said is real, all just for story purposes

I'm referring to standard shipping (and the like) offered by the carrier as part of their order process.

Given It's your choice to opt for fast/express shipping, you're essentially paying for a non-standard service, thereby the cost Is on you.

It makes no sense to me that if we use expedited shipping, claim DNA and they accept it, the refund is done but without the costs of said shipping included.

They're basically saying "Ok, we're sorry that your package was lost/stolen, here's your refund minus the shipping costs". I mean ?????? We ended up getting nothing but we're out of that money?!

Am i missing something?! xD
