A lucky find on some serial numbers for some monitors, hoping for success. #1
I have two claims right now, one with Dell and one with Lenovo. For the Lenovo monitor, I found a serial code on eBay when I searched "Lenovo Monitor" and sorted by old listings. I was extremely surprised the warranty of the Monitor (that I found on Lenovos Warranty Status Checker using the SN from eBay) still had warranty for two more years, AND had a advanced replacement.

For the Dell Monitor, I found a serial on Mercari as well, searched "Dell Monitor", didn't sort though. Found a serial for a S2716DG, and my luck musta been good, because this one still had warranty AND, again had a advanced exchange.

I contacted Dell and it wasn't easy talking to their chat support agent, and I claimed I couldn't send it back, won't say my reasons/methods on how I convinced the associate to start the Dispatch Monitor Request, but I eventually got the representative to do it. Turned out, the monitor was already registered, I needed to do a ownership replacement form, and so i dug up on some info on the owner (I have a few ways to get info), but I got their name and stuff needed to fill out the required previous owner details. The Lenovo monitor was a simple email form so I don't know whats next, gonna keep checking.
I'm going to try to keep this thread updated with the status of these SN claims. Smile If anyone has any tips, feel free to leave them here

Good work with circumventing their request to return the monitor.

Please keep us updated as developments come to hand.

Will do. I believe it should be easy with the Lenovo. I might say that someone in the household just "recently" got tested positive for a contagious illness and that it would be a safety hazard to do so. Maybe I can ignore it the return request flatout, lol.

Can you use the same reason(s) as you did with Dell?

at Lenovo warranty checker by Advanced Replacement you meant Premium Care or Premier Onsite Support?

So, update, everything went smoothly. The last conversation was just a chat of the rep asking for various evidences (understandably), which I provided.

I meant Premier Care, I should've clarified that. Smile

Judging by the post you've deleted, the SE succeeded, yes?
