so i returned the cheaper phone and wow. the guy literally shook it to his ear and that was the test... then he proceeded to count the money 3 times.. and somehow still give me a 10er more refund.. if its that guy refunding yeh i think its v easy lol

So you used the wrong Item received method (that wasn't their stock), and the representative approved your claim with no questions asked?

No I ended up doing a dry run as wasn’t confident. But I see now how a £200 phone bought with cash can easily be taken out of the box and the box with any old crap returned.

This has created more questions for me:

1. If I do this with a £1000 phone:
a. Is it more likely to get checked in your experience?
b. What do you do if they do check inside?? (This is a big dealbreaker for me as potentially they can call police) Better to have the delivery guy as a middle man to potentially blame than just returning it in person.
c. Most importantly! How do you take the security sticker off and back on again (vinegar?)


2. Also.. can I go into Curys and just start weighing boxes lol? To find the perfect one to switch with for delivery lol?
