Not everyone has a photo ID (nor Is It a legal requirement) so If this Is not part of the equation, well, I don't need to explain how to manipulate a document.
Note: I do not condone falsifying documents.
In my experience they accept many forms of ID including some without a photo. Typically bank cards work just fine as long as it’s the same name on the card and the parcel.
I have collected parcels from corner shops and Royal Mail using a debit card on several occasions with ease. Of course those were legitimate situations with my personal bank card. As I said earlier they only glance at it to establish the name matches and give you the parcel so further verification is not required.
I would say this will work (without trying it myself) though as per the OP you would be requested to show a form of ID.
Do you happen to know whether a "birth certificate" Is also accepted?
