UK Drop Ideas? - Parliament - 07-21-2020 Hi all, been a while since I've posted on Sinisterly or SEd due to dealing with IRL stuff. Will be a lot more active now. I'm looking to run a lot of SEs in the future and my drop isn't active because of covid so looking for a new drop. Anybody got any methods or out-of-the-box ideas for finding a drop? UK based. I don't really live in the best place to find houses for sale. Found a bunch of properties for sale and scouted them out and only found one which was actually abandoned and looked do-able. Was a bitch to find as I looked at like 20 houses so hoping sending a package there will actually land. Read a bunch of methods but none seem stable enough to do a lot of things or even valuable things to. Let me know if you have any new ideas or have been having trouble trying to find a stable drop as well. RE: UK Drop Ideas? - InsaneAK - 07-21-2020 I usually “accidentally” put the wrong address. So if I live at number 4, I address the parcel to number 44. Then on the day after it’s been delivered go and tell them (number 44) I realised today I accidentally put 44 instead of 4. Works with any number on your road really RE: UK Drop Ideas? - Johnngnky - 07-21-2020 If you are using a drop to prevent automated checks, misspelling your address normally does the trick. E.g. if your address is 88 Station road AA1 1AA, you can type in 88 stacion road, AA11 1AA. The mailing service will guess the right postcode for you, given that you live in a small town and you specify the town. I wouldn't risk this trick if you live in a city though. Your neighbor doesn't deserve to get billed. For sure don't want to involve neighbors when or any innocents SEing. They're more likely to be vacated than homes for sale. RE: UK Drop Ideas? - Green314 - 07-21-2020 I haven't understood yet. A drop is supposed to be an abandoned house/ rent house/ sale house, because nobody will open the door when the package arrives? As said in my post I found a house which was good but it had a front gate that the person I sent out to look at and I completely forgot about so the package kept getting denied by the carrier when I put in the special instructions "put on porch/next to bin"(07-21-2020, 09:36 AM)Parliament Wrote: Completely forgot about renting; just found two houses near me. Not a worry though since it was some £20 SE I used to test.Feeling good about these for rent houses though. I'll know by tonight. They will usually just put it on the porch, you go run up and get it.
