Is there a hard limit on how many chargebacks one can do on a paypal account?

There are no hard and fast rules, however If you perform too many chargebacks within a given time frame, your account may be limited/closed without notice.

I've hit three In a month but that was done with common sense, good judgement and allowing a sufficient gap between each claim.
