Update on paypal chargebacks? - Johnngnky - 04-27-2020 Hello all. It has been a while since I've really looked at this topic. I was wondering whether anyone has an experience of a vendor not checking the paypal claim? I know google play store has their claims sent to a no-reply email. I'm pretty sure wish.com used to as well. I have heard rumors that Samsung used to be able to, not sure now. And lastly, G2A which is now responding to claims. Can anyone give a recent update on lists where we could just ask for a refund on paypal? Thanks. RE: Update on paypal chargebacks? - mothered - 04-27-2020 Companies on a large scale, usually do not respond. I don't believe anything has changed with Samsung, and to the best of my knowledge, Microsoft also don't respond. Does that mean refunding a phone through paypal would not get the phone blocked? Can't say for sure that It won't. It's at the company's discretion. If the IMEI Is placed In a pool of blacklisted numbers, It may well be blocked. RE: Update on paypal chargebacks? - Johnngnky - 04-29-2020 Thanks all. As far as my knowledge goes, some companies only respond to the highest amount chargebacks. Which means a relatively cheap item will likely creep through the system. I had speculation that Samsung is one of them. So a J series would have more chance of success than a S series phone. Or are all regions affected. With microsoft, is that the microsoft windows store or the surface store? I wouldn't be surprised if the whole range of stores suffer from the same problem. But I would expect Microsoft store to have some reply agents for its more expensive products...
