When i did an SE on UE a few week ago i went direct to the UE site and support, Never visited Logitech at all and it worked fine. Word of warning, UE will check the serial creation date. If your POP is dated before the serial was created you need a good excuse to continue the RMA. Dont know of a way to check the date of a serial so its 50/50 if you get it right or not.
