I just had an idea. I'm not sure if anyone has done this before.
You check on ebay for faulty items.
You get the serial number from description and start the SE with the company.
If it is successful, you buy the item from the eBay seller for a fraction of the price and return it and get a fully working one.

I mean, you could've just ordered it directly in the first place and gotten it returned. But yeah I've done that a few times
