Honestly i dont think there is a way to SE out of warranty items because you will have to pay a service fee probably before they send the box. I may be wrong but you’ll need a reciept for the apple device you want to SE probably. But find a in warranty serial and do the box method.

They will more than likely ask you for the IMEI of the device so they can blacklist that phone once boxed, deeming it useless.
