need help with apple products. - ^RiP - 02-21-2018 Hello everyone, I am new Here. I am just wondering If there is any way to SE apple products that are out of warranty. I have an iPhone 6 & an iPhone 5s. I'd just like to try to get a replacement or something. Can anyone help guide me on how to go about doing this? What to say etc.
RE: need help with apple products. - Cjone1700 - 02-23-2018 Honestly i dont think there is a way to SE out of warranty items because you will have to pay a service fee probably before they send the box. I may be wrong but you’ll need a reciept for the apple device you want to SE probably. But find a in warranty serial and do the box method. They will more than likely ask you for the IMEI of the device so they can blacklist that phone once boxed, deeming it useless. For future reference, the point of SEing a given product, Is to either get a refund or replacement- based on the grounds that the product Is covered by the seller. If the warranty has expired, It becomes the buyer's responsibility. That said, on the rare occasion, you may be In luck with an expired warranty claim depending on the duration of the expiration and whether they're willing to turn a blind eye with company protocol. RE: need help with apple products. - Skryptec - 02-24-2018 If the device is out of warranty, you will probably not get it replaced. You can try to make up an excuse, maybe they will give you a replacement out of warranty but I doubt they will. Fitbit sometimes replaces out of warranty as well. |
