Usually there's a source and destination MAC-address as well as IP-address.
Is wireshark capable of viewing vpn connections to your network ? or any other hidden connections to your network?
Wireshark only monitors whats going in and out of your machine. There are ways around that, like preforming a Man in the Middle Attack.
Interesting I've heard of a Man in the Middle attack, do you have a link or possibly an article to point me in the right direction so I can get a better understanding of it.
