First: Half of the "RATs" you mentioned are very outdated and most likely don't work with newer OS'. Why not try and make your own? It'll teach you a lot more than using others pre-made "RAT."

Second: Why are you even ratting, I didn't even know it was a thing anymore until you brought it up. I thought that phase of minecraft kids were over. Nevertheless, I still highly suggest trying to create your own, as you'll learn WAY more valuable skills than ratting.

Thanks Panty ,,,,Very valuable comment,,,as a learner i never find it bad if someone tries to point me to right direction.... a little story behind all this RAT thing...., Keylogger RATS, BOTS, Crypters, that's what a Moderate Security interested student can pay attention to . Penetration testing , or other network related Security research is out of my reach as i am too much busy with my Master Thesis that is in totally different domain . i did started from Keyloggers. yea ..the old ardamax . . thats how it was my first attempted to know the hacking world. well, ,, then i searched for FUD word ,,,i realize that ,,,the only way to achieve is to code your own .. .well ... creating a FUD keylogger opened many many interesting things that, how antivirus can statically detect a sig from a file and how some API's combined together can alarm an antivirus ..... Well surprisingly my Own Created keylogger is still 1/40 after even one year.. .. RATs. Keylogger can be a valuable skills when you are investigating a miner group of people ... I was used to with RATs long ago , and then i stopped and remain busy in life as an andriod and web developer . ... now suddenly i needed to investigate a group of peoples in my area Who are doing some serious crime like blackmailing by posting privately taken pictures of some girls or something like that. . . i know the rage of people that i can investigate but we don't have any idea who is actually doing this. . .using keylogger can do this but that will not give a proof ... and the only thing left in my toolkit is a RAT . . .so i started building a keylogger for andriod and looked into my old inventory (HDD, test LAB virtual machines )
When i setup-ed everything i came to realize that nothing is working on windows 8 ........ i was just carious that why it is not working ...is it windows 8 or if it is only my windows 8 ...that was the whole story ...i know some of the RATs are very old. . ... these days i have time..and i am looking into crypters ...i don't know how much time will take me to understand the RunPE concept but i do know ...that i will take time. .. going for a complete new RAT will be totally out of scope . .. if i can find a working solution for modern windows editions . Now, if you guys exactly know that what is the best solution that will works on windows 8 with CAM, File Grabbing and keylogger or taking screen shots. . . (i am not talking about FUD...)..Just point me the method or the name of software i am willing to look into it... thanks again everyone for encouraging comments.. .

Have you tried It via a clean Installation of Windows 8, with nothing Installed other than drivers?

Meaning, only the bare necessities to run Windows 8 and nothing else. I'm just trying to establish whether there's something (firewall, proxy etc) that may be precluding the RAT (client) from functioning.

No ... i have not done that .. .but i have switched off my AV's firewall an have even uninstalled It...
No proxy is running nor do i use any VPN... The only thing is in my mind .do Windows 8 have its own fireWall ? maybe when turning off my AV's firewall is trigging the windows own firewall ?

And the AV that i am using is ESET
