RE: Faking a PR 11-28-2023, 11:23 PM

it might depend on region and value i think. I have heard of people faking Prs and no one checking, i have heard of people faking PRs and putting a fake phone number on the PR to then pretend to be the PD (i would highly advise against this but i am not experienced, i just know faking a police department is probably grounds for serious action against you, while a false report can’t really be investigated and a fake report would at most cause them to ban you but not risk legal trouble yknow)
my experience is when i had an aged account and used to buy stuff from amazon all the time, on my 3rd high value refund they asked for a PR and they called to check it is real, told me it isn’t, and i had to call them again and check why they thought it was fake, turns out they called the wrong pd, i had to guide them to the correct site (literally asking them to google the pd in my city and calling the number) & they confirmed it was real, refunded me then ofm closed the account.
