Was asked to go through some extra troubleshooting steps, i told them that i had already tried everything. They asked for the firmware version and supplied them as i have the mouse in hand and the logitech app. (68.2.21 was the firmware version for this mouse if anyone needs it)
They also gave me a list to fill out which i did accordingly and sent it back, including a receipt after an hour of waiting i received a response and they seem like they will me shipping me a new mouse!
No proof of actually having the mouse or its faults were required.
FOR LEGALITY PURPOSES THIS IS A FICTIONAL STORY
UPDATE
Logitech responded saying its going into a final approval stage, which could take 5-7 business days!
Yeah but kind of a waste if you used a fake receipt anyway. Could have went for a g pro superlight which has suceeded with no evidence of faults for me aswell plus many other expensive peripherals. It has always been this easy with them for me and yes signature is required. Don't miss the delivery or you won't be able to pickup at local shop etc. Nevertheless well done mate!
Really? It's always been this easy for you I've tried them with three different mouses and two different keyboards and each time it's failed because they're not able to verify the proof of purchase
For one of them I even got a legitimate POP and they still denied me the closest I got to succeeding they waited all the way until the end of the process to tell me that the serial number was invalid and the warranty had already been claimed
where you using your own serials ? and how did you go about actually talking to them about the problem of the item ?
Anything i post is purely my schizophrenia !!!
