Logitech S/N SE - ohhim - 09-18-2023

Currently talking to a logitech agent about sending a replacement mouse, Specifically the G305 wireless.

Have had the mouse for about a year or so, couldn't find the original receipt so i just edited a digital one a electronic retailer over here sent me to include the item and it's correct price.

Currently going through troubleshoot process and asking for details.

extra detail: Used a fake name during the process, hoping it doesnt require a signature LOL

WILL UPDATE THIS AS IT PROGRESSES!

RE: Logitech S/N SE - HeadxHunter - 09-18-2023

Why would you want two? Selling? Do you need the original if you faked the receipt + can the receipt be faked from lets say bestbuy? I'd love to hear YOUR process

RE: Logitech S/N SE - ohhim - 09-18-2023

UPDATE

Was asked to go through some extra troubleshooting steps, i told them that i had already tried everything. They asked for the firmware version and supplied them as i have the mouse in hand and the logitech app. (68.2.21 was the firmware version for this mouse if anyone needs it)

They also gave me a list to fill out which i did accordingly and sent it back, including a receipt after an hour of waiting i received a response and they seem like they will me shipping me a new mouse!

No proof of actually having the mouse or its faults were required.

FOR LEGALITY PURPOSES THIS IS A FICTIONAL STORY

UPDATE

Logitech responded saying its going into a final approval stage, which could take 5-7 business days!

Yeah but kind of a waste if you used a fake receipt anyway. Could have went for a g pro superlight which has suceeded with no evidence of faults for me aswell plus many other expensive peripherals. It has always been this easy with them for me and yes signature is required. Don't miss the delivery or you won't be able to pickup at local shop etc. Nevertheless well done mate!

RE: Logitech S/N SE - ohhim - 09-18-2023

Hey so in regards to getting a super light, to actually contact them about the product i needed to enter in a s/n and it popped up with the g305 or g304, i also really like this mouse quite a bit, will probably be a g!ft to my partner !
and it may not need a signature, aus post can be picky and choosey about what orders require it.

and thank you it was my first SE ! hoping to do more just not sure where to start.

Really? It's always been this easy for you I've tried them with three different mouses and two different keyboards and each time it's failed because they're not able to verify the proof of purchase

For one of them I even got a legitimate POP and they still denied me the closest I got to succeeding they waited all the way until the end of the process to tell me that the serial number was invalid and the warranty had already been claimed

I used my brother sn one time the rest were off of eBay

I would always just say that they didn't turn on

Then I'd say that nothing worked at all to fix it

I feel like not turning on is a bit of a weak way to go about it, i also think it could depend on who you are talking too, i would be happy to do your logitech claim for you Biggrin

UPDATE

So after being told it could take 5-7 business days i was given a shipping confirmation the next morning, and it arrived the next day ( today ) in the afternoon
