the bank rejected my chargeback based on zalando's position on the matter. 

What was your bank's response when they declined the claim?

"Unfortunately, we could not accept your complaint regarding a card transaction.
We contacted the institution supporting the service provider with a request for a position on the matter. Because
the complaint has not been positively considered, we have no grounds to recognize your claim"

Nothing specific, apart from that they also informed me that I can appeal to the bank arbitrator or consumer ombudsman in this matter.
