I don't know of anyone who'd have 3 bottles of water on hand - there's no reason to for personal use.

Go for one bottle.

But the consolle weights 4.45kg, one bottle is just 1,5kg….they will register a low weight from the beginning….(even on the label you can read “5kg”)
I thought that a driver stays out all the day for work and so could have a couple of bottles with him in a backpack (i saw one of them eating a sandwich on his van 😄), or stop and buy them everywhere (this is maybe the more realistic)
Or bring bottles with him on purpose to do this thing.
Or someone that works in a warehouse could even take them from the trash bin and refill in the bathroom maybe…

Your approach may work, but do expect a lengthy claims process.

Here in italy i’ve never seen 4kg bottles, standard are 1,5 or max 2 litres.
Waiting is not a problem
I think they will open an investigation with the carrier and mail me that there wasn’t a consolle inside, then i will just insist that i sealed and labeled the box and give it to the guy at the Ups reception, and then wait for microsoft’s decision, right?
