Is it risky to keep the phone if the refund is ok?

I tried it a computer part, and they sent me a warning email saying to send the original item.

But tell me a thing, does the Amz Invoice mention the SN of that computer part?
Otherwise how can they prove the original SN and the new one of the other item you returned?
