So the a Police Officer actually called me about btis and asked about the report, I explained everything and he basically said he doesn't get why Amazon has started doing this - they get hundreds of reports about this and every single one the have to just close with no further action. Basically slagging off Amazon for wasting ,my  time and his  time.

Going to send the PR  now and will query what you said about the delivery piece and keep you updated.

Sounds to me like that particular PD is getting fed up with those type of police reports, hopefully it get s to a point world wide where the police ask Amazon to stop this madness. The second it starts to affect their stats I think this will happen, mark my words. Then it will be open season on them again, you wait.

What's your experience with "Sealed box method"? If I manage to re-seal a package with plastic so that it's 95% like original, is there still a reasonable risk that the company will break the fake seal and check the content? Assuming that I have filled it with something to the matching weight that doesn't bounce around in the box.

If you are OK with your SE having a 95% chance of working but likely much lower. Why aim for 95% ?
