Regardless of the circumstances Involved, you've been refunded - which was the objective of the SE. So In that sense, It did succeed.

True, however I gained nothing. They merely refunded a package I never received so it was a lose lose situation. Thank you for your reply as ever

I managed to get a refund today, EU.

But I had to do a little extra because I had a bad presentiment. I Can tell you in PM if anyone is interested.
