I claimed the same EB on the 18th (UK). I am still waiting for a response from Meta's investigation.

Wondering if this is the end of this SE's streak and if I should cancel and return mine now.

Does anyone know if it is likely you can still return an item the normal way in the future after getting a similar^ refund denial?

If more than a week has passed then you should contact them for an update. Pretty sure their CS is 24 hour, over whatsapp anyway. If the SE fails you should be able to still back out of it

However, please understand that we have a process to follow in which investigating your case further since on our warehouse; we have packed your order and handed it over to the courier for shipping.

I want to extend our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience, it's not our usual standard as we also want to deliver the order at your doorstep without any delays.
