You didn't wait for anyone to come and collect It - It's a defective/dangerous product and you couldn't take the risk of It sitting anywhere near your home, hence It was Immediately disposed of at a nearby waste department.

I had them reopen my claim, even though a few weeks had passed since my last communication with them (I told'em I was away on a business trip abroad).
The phone operator was waaaay more understanding than the one I had dealt with before, said things like "in no way will Dyson allow one of its users to be left unserviced like this".
But they now want a POP. I could easily forge one, I know, but... does somebody know whether they conduct thorough investigations on them to prove whether they're real or not? I wouldn't want to fu$£ my claim up at this point just because of a forged POP.

Would you not be able to use corrupted file method in this case?

They've got 2 ways for you to send them POPs: one's through WhatsApp and the other one's through a link they send to you while you're on the phone with them.
Both ways obviously make the corrupted file method useless, as you're gonna upload the photos to either WhatsApp or their website.
