Alright. When talking to customer support is it better to claim that there were signs of tampering (re-taped, damaged) and the mouse is missing or simply that the box was sealed and in perfect condition but no mouse was found inside?

I've just read elsewhere it's better to claim the mouse is just missing due to a manufacturer error. Does @mothered or anyone else here know if logitech has CCTV in their warehouses (seems most of their products are made in China)/has anyone successfully done empty box on logitech?
