Buying A New Version Of Something You Have, Returning The Old One 10-23-2022, 10:50 AM #1

I have a pretty great coffee machine that is a bit on the old side. I was thinking of buying a new version of the same model and just returning the old one in its box for a refund. What do you all think? Any foreseeable issues, or do you think that might be a good SE strategy?
