It seems like people that have ordered stuff like PS5s and etc recently have had the same listed on their order (21+ ID Check needed at delivery), but had them just left at the door. Other posts mention that ups/fedex don’t have time to check for ID so a signature is enough.

^ That's why I questioned the ID.

If It's checked, I'm trying to establish whether the driver "takes a copy of the ID", or purely looks at It. If It's the latter, It's useless - the driver's word cannot be used to verify the ID.

I’m hoping that it just gets left at the door like how my Xbox was delivered 2 years ago, no signature so there’s no complications. But at twice the value, I’m not sure if it’ll be that easy.

If It's dumped at your doorstep, the DNA Is good to go, regardless of the Item value.
