Which companies usually just send out the replacement instead of wanting the "broken" one back? Is there a list somewhere?

Each company varies with their very own assessment, so It's not possible to definitively provide a list of those that predominantly do not request returns.

I understand, so how would one approach this, if I dont know in advance if they are goong to ask to return? So far it seems to me your reply to me is also a good answer to the main question of this thread. "Why is nobody dojng this?"
