@mothered in my case I don't think that will be a good idea as the receipt I sent included the phones serial number on it.

Got It, I wasn't aware of the serial number on the receipt.

In that case, tell Apple you'll contact CEX to see why they've supplied you with an Invalid POP. Assure Apple that you will send the correct one from CEX, and then use the corrupted file method.

Hopefully there will be no marks on my account or address and I can try again another way at a later date
