My Message :
Hello, I got 37 years old this week and my friend gifted me one of your awesome collections, named "Paper Mate Gel Pens 14 counts". Actually, I was a free writer since i was 17 years old, i write for myself and my dear friend knew that and that was the most precious gift someone could gift me. I don't really care about price, it's meaningful! When we opened it, pens and box were all ruined by water or oil and they don't write. My friend got mad and threw them.I'm contacting you to fix the issue.

What do you advice?

You've created a very good approach, that may well work In your favor.

There's a vulnerability In PaperMate's reply below.

we recommend you to contact the seller first.

They've stated "we recommend you to contact the seller first", meaning that's what they're suggesting as the Initial step. They're not releasing themselves from liability, so as an alternative, you can say that you've contacted the seller and they asked you to deal directly with PaperMate.

Thanks for your reply mate
I've decided to continue as it is my first "Free" SE try
I told them
"Good day !
Thank you for your response, yes actually that's the first thing we did with my friend we called the seller and they just said to contact customer service of PaperMate and here we are.
Honestly, i don't understand why do i have to be in the middle of such a comedy! This sends me to that, that sends me to this; With all my respect but you're making me feel like i am 6 years old.Can we please solve this in a professional manner? Appreciate your understanding.
Best regards,
Djardi
