Basically I have used a SN got a label to box them. Paid someone to FTID it for me. And the package was delivered but not found. Now Microsoft have given UPS 10 (8 remaining) days to find my parcel containing my laptop. What are the chances they will rediscover the parcel that was delivered to the wrong place? What are the chances they won’t?

Not sure if a guide has been posted here but I’ll be sure to share my methods if the laptop lands.. and any help is appreciated guys. Have a nice day.

Same situation with me. If they find it just say that clearly in the time it was lost someone has robbed it. UPS are a joke you will be fine they won't find it Cool

I have to admit i done goofed this time.
You should have opted for the corrupted file method.

Didn't think at all it was all very rushed I must admit
Not to worry.

Take the positive out of the negative- should a similar SE take place, you're now aware of your options.

These kinds of situations are something regular for UPS. I don't know what it has such a big rating, and it is considered one of the best delivery companies but I sent five parcels and two of them were lost. I am sending presents for my relatives using UPS, because it is the only company that delivers in Germany, and I don't have any alternative. I am always using the package tracker for being sure that the parcel arrived at the destination and the UPS lost already two parcels while they were delivering it to the destination.

Where was the package delivered?

people always say FTID is flawed, but why?

I know it's been a while But I am wondering how did your case with Microsoft finish?

I should add my own specie for this.

I finished it once, it was in first moths of 2023.
Basic FTID, fake invoice and a month of emails and dialogues with Microsoft. They started UPS investigation and I found out that on tracking after a replacement order appeared. Ended well.

All depends on your data that you provide, quality of ftid, your persistence and well knowledge about scenario that company does on those cases.
