I don’t really understand this post. Did you want him to charge you 20 cents for the cable? You realise every good in this world as set at a higher price point than the cost of production. This is simply how businesses work.

What's the point in this? The item value is low and this is just one person you're targeting.. this whole thing seems a bit childish and tedious.

Since I got you pretty emotional, I guess you are of Chinese origin. If so, I would like to assure you, that I filter my prey by ratings and amount of sold items, not by their nationality.

About as white and American as you can get, but not sure the relevance to anything I said with that statement.

You're the one who brought up nationality, not anyone else. Also I didn't say you weren't doing it with no reason, I was saying your reason is scummy and I was ergo not going to help. Sorry if your feelings got hurt by saying that "wow look at me I'm so cool I don't care about other people teehee" makes you an edgelord as you had posted about in one of your previous statements, non actual quote naturally but basically the vibe I and probably others get from it.

In my opinion any sort of SE'ing off eBay is a douche move. Those guys are already getting fingered by eBay and Paypals fees. My only exception for when I do eBay is with a giant to use alternative methods to ordering, eg. Currys, eBuyer etc.

As previous users have said, real scummy move. $5.

Obviously, a person of a certain nation would defend another person of his nationality. Given the fact that you even went further than that and insulted me on a personal level, the thought of you being of the same Nationality was pretty legit.

I get your point, but me SE'ing over 5$ isn't because I like causing other people harm. Everyone who refunds harms someone, it doesn't matter if it's an individual seller or huge concerns like amazon. There is always an innocent person at fault. People SE'ing Amazon for hundreds of dollars is just the same as me SE'ing these individual sellers for a 5$ product. They couldn't care less and that's why I get the refund after basically 1 message. Wouldn't do it if it weren't that easy.

5$ is basically 30mins of work in my country. Why would I work 30mins when I could get the product for free by just typing 1 message? Doing this saved me over 500$ in a year for stuff I really needed. 5$ might not be much short term, but long term it will sum up and might one day make a huge difference.

That's your opinion and I don't agree. When a seller refunds me I tell them to use the reason "buyer wanted to cancel", so they get all the fees back. I always check how the seller is doing on ebay, if he has huge success, I will SE him. Only for articles <20$, never more.

Quite the contrary.

You're digging Into an Individual's pocket, as opposed to a company on a large scale marking the loss as a tax deduction or write-off, without any negative Impact on their financial state.

I think a big problem with SE is that people try to pretend that they still can hold moral values while SEing. while yes you may feel better stealing from Amazon as they are a bigger company, it is still stealing no matter who you do it from.

Nowadays it seems people try to make themselves feel better about what they are doing when they should just accept that stealing from anybody is morally wrong (just my opinion of course).

Without question It's stealing, however performing It against the second largest e-commerce company In the world who also (Indirectly) steals from consumers by repeatedly declining "legit claims" for refunds, Is totally different to targeting Individual sellers.
