Chinese Seller tries to PayPal Scam - JonSmith - 10-09-2020 So basically, I ordered an item on ebay and gave it a bad rating as soon as the item arrived. I messaged the seller and told him, that I can change the rating if he shows me good customer service etc. and he was willing to give me a refund via PayPal. Now comes the scam: He tells me that he basically can't refund the original payment due to an error on PayPals side and that he will pay me the money in a new payment, which he obviously markes as "goods and services", since he wants to dispute it and get his money back. I will open a dispute on ebay and win, but I want to fuck him completely and want to ask for ways I can win in the PayPal dispute, which he will open sooner or later. Should I send a game key to his email and afterwards tell PayPal, that he activated it already? Because I am greedy and not willing to pay 5$ for a cable that probably costs 20 cents in production. I don't have a moral code like most of the people here, and to be honest, most of these Chinese sellers are greedy and scammy aswell. This is not the first time they tried to "PayPal Refund Scam" me, but most of the time I just opened a dispute and got my money back. This is the first time I actually got money sent and let me tell you, there is something thrilling about scamming the scammers! RE: Chinese Seller tries to PayPal Scam - Satan - 10-09-2020 If it were for a legitimate reason I'd advise of plenty ways to go about things, but it isn't, so I won't. Overall though, pretty scumbag move. Naturally, edgelords like you get off on it since 95% have a insults kink but really, trying to destroy someone else's livelihood because you're such a broke ass you can't afford $5 is low. It's all about ones moral code. To me it doesn't matter if I'm SE'ing Amazon or a shady Chinese Seller. Y'all are acting like these 5$ are going to change his whole life, while he is doing multiple >100$ sellings a day being a scamming mofo. These 5$ orders quickly add up when SE'ing, I probably saved multiple 100 bucks this way on items I really needed. You not wanting to help me is legit and I respect that, but there is no reason for being insulting and disrespectful towards a person asking for help. You know jackshit about my finances and personal life, so stop acting like what I'm doing is without reason and just to harm others. Since I got you pretty emotional, I guess you are of Chinese origin. If so, I would like to assure you, that I filter my prey by ratings and amount of sold items, not by their nationality. The equation Is pretty simple- you don't like his deals, opt for another seller. You have no idea what kinda sales this person is doing, so I don't really get what you're trying to achieve by protecting him. I don't respect people selling counterfeit ware as original. I would 10x rather SE someone like this than paying them. In the end all SE's come down to morals, but in court it won't matter if you SE'd Amazon or some individual seller, it's fraud. And the equation is even simpler - he isn't being a shady seller, opt for another seller. Otherwise SE. Whether he generates 100$+ or 1$ daily, Is Immaterial. He can do as he sees fit- Irrespective of your disapproval. Quote:while he is doing multiple >100$ sellings a day I have no Idea who he Is and quite frankly, I couldn't care less. If you don't approve of his sales strategy, simply move to another seller. No one (other than yourself) Is forcing you to purchase nor deal with his goods. I'd like to offer you some constructive advice. Get on with your life by focusing on your needs and wants, rather than the movements and behavior of others. |
