Was the claim within Logitech's 30-day refund/money back guarantee policy?

Interesting point. I have not heard/read similar things so far. As you say it must have been that individual agent who has been insisting on POP. Thank you for clearing it up.

Yes, he got it from a student in his class which he purhcased it from logitech for two months , so warranty is not the issue should be the rep

Well In that case, It's definitely the rep's Incapacity to process the claim, regardless whether a POP Is on hand.
I've SEd countless companies without a receipt, both online and In-store and If a refund was not possible (due to their terms or otherwise) a replacement or credit note was Issued.

I will try it. Do you think I should use an invented name & surname?
I will then add it also on the doorbell just in case it will work.

I would imagine there is no reason to use your real name. Especially if you want to get more than one product.
Good luck! I will be interested to see your results.

How are you planning your method and execution?

First and foremost I need to understand whether it's still workable.
Secondly if the item I want to SE is available: wireless charging phone, circle surveillance camera.
If it's workable, I will:
- find the S/N on ebay similar
- contact them via email
- start lying
This is the plan
