Also I spoke to SEUK earlier and he told me DNA won't work with PayPal. He is recommending that I stick to the SNAD method.

DNA will not work, delivery is with DPD for Currys for high value items - so they will investigate, show up and use GPS - a most likely scenario is that if you go straight for a PayPal case then you run the risk that Currys reply with tracking info and PayPal will close the case in sellers favour.

2. SNAD is definitely the best option in my opinion. If you've got an old laptop that you know longer want, just take a picture of that saying that everything was sealed etc and found this inside instead. Send them a few pics to backup your case, in my case with them I used the same method and they didn't reply to me.

I hear you.. I was thinking perhaps something like the laptop's battery leaked or something of that sort? And I disposed of it due to the health and safety hazard & chemicals.
I have done DNA's with the couriers before and SEUK is saying that isn't ideal..

Update for anyone that's interested

Curry's did not reply and k got my 4.5k refund no problems. Got the email Saturday, so should be in my account in the next day or two.
