Hi lads,

I'm planning to refund a £2,000 laptop from either Curry's or John Lewis. A couple of people have claimed that PayPal refunds have worked with DNA and they had no problems at all with the process.

Do you think this order would be smooth if I open up a dispute with PayPal straight after I get the laptop?

go with SNAD method. DNA is too loose of a method - if they are to respond with tracking, then PayPal will auto favour seller

You file a dispute via PayPal, whereby the buyer & seller try and work things out. Obviously, as an SE'er, you'll do nothing of the sort.

Within 20 days, you escalate the dispute to a claim and that's when PayPal gets Involved and makes a decision as to whether a refund will be Issued. If that fails, perform a chargeback through your credit card provider or a bank reversal with your merchant.
