Microsoft SE. UPS Lost package investigation. #1
So yeah, decided to SE Microsoft for a surface laptop 2 i5 8tb ram etc....

Basically I have used a SN got a label to box them. Paid someone to FTID it for me. And the package was delivered but not found. Now Microsoft have given UPS 10 (8 remaining) days to find my parcel containing my laptop. What are the chances they will rediscover the parcel that was delivered to the wrong place? What are the chances they won’t?

Not sure if a guide has been posted here but I’ll be sure to share my methods if the laptop lands.. and any help is appreciated guys. Have a nice day.

How can we know it? It depends on from the efficiency of the carrier. I think only the time will tell you.

I have never had experiences with FTID. I do not want to make you sad, but one of the problems of the FTID is that it doesn't always work, it depends on many facts. Let's hope for you that you will end up with a successful SE.

Let's see what the other users think about it.

This Is a prime example of why I keep reiterating to not use the flawed (so-called) FTID method.

Where was the package delivered?

1. ^^ I hadn't realised people have had much difficulty with this before. I started my mission without much research and only the knowledge i've gained through experience.

2. I'm unsure of this currently as I paid a verified boxer some BTC to send it off with FTID. The boxer in question claims that UPS will never find the box.
Thanks for your time

Understood, and that's the objective of the FTID, however the shipment must demonstrate that It has been delivered to the correct destination.

For example, If It's based on the tracking number with the consignor & consignee details being correct but (somehow) the carrier delivered the package to another address that will never be located, then the SE will succeed. In short, the tracking details confirm the delivery, but the package Is lost, hence the claim cannot be declined.

The tracking details do indeed confirm the delivery. Microsoft have told me multiple times that they "have" my package. To go and then tell me they have to launch a UPS 10 day claim to find it.... All I can do is sit, wait and pray haha.

If they will find it, might be a problem, they could discover what you did and take proper measures.
If they don't find it, they will issue you a refund and you have completed a successful SE.
