Chargebacks/disputes with your merchant, should always be used as the final course of action.

You'll be fine.

Final course of action because they will blacklist your information? Or is there another reason to it?
In other words, It's when all else fails pertaining to your SE, thus your claim for a refund/replacement Is declined by the company Itself. You then resort to PayPal via a chargeback.

If they refuse to comply, you chargeback with your credit card provider or "bank reversal". If that's successful, they will retrieve the funds from PayPal's merchant and they (their merchant) will obtain the funds from PayPal- who finally access the funds from the seller.

Think of a chargeback as backup system.

Great to know that I've had the correct mindset. What are the drawbacks of charging back though?
Unfortunately, I have to retire from SE.

If you perform too many chargebacks In a given time frame, your PayPal account can be limited.

Ahh got it. Do you know if CC companies would also enforce similar limits?

I can't speak for all credit card providers but In general, when suspicious activity Is detected on one's account, they can take further action- legally.

Obtaining goods via Illegal means, has Its consequences.

Hey just wondered how you did with this, I did the same. Had a £450 delivery however in my area they are not collecting signatures, photos or gps (not available in my area yet). I put a claim in and was told that they will deny it, I cannot escalate it higher and there stance will not change, they cannot provide me with any proof. I dont want to claim this on my bank so im pushing JL as much as I can, wondering how you got on .

Spoken to two mangers and they just keep swinging me in a circle . I have put in a complaint too. But by the looks of it, they have a set amount they are willing to refund under the circumstances because there is proof it was delivered to the address. Gonna speak to another manager tomorrow. I think they can't do anything, but they are willing to work with the bannk... Might have to take it to them.... Dont plan on using JL other than SE reasons.

be careful with the complaints ... now Amazon also has an anti-fraud department and if they have evidence in its favor the matter is not going well
