They have. Just that they are very customer-centric so maybe it wouldn't appear so for some people until flags rise up.

But by the looks of it, they have a set amount they are willing to refund under the circumstances because there is proof it was delivered to the address.

I've yet to come across a fixed quota refund, based on confirmation of receipt of goods. It'll be Interesting to see whether their terms state this.

Proof of delivery, does not conclude proof of personally accepting the package.
Push them on this point, and be adamant throughout the entire process.

technically at the beginning their department analyzed crimes such as carding and identity theft ... then they started to observe the most suspicious repayments ... currently only the amazon.fr department should not yet manage the repayments while all the others they do it. .. but I know these things by hearsay so I wouldn't say bullshit ... so study well the method you want to implement and try to be as safe as possible

Ye mine seems to think he has linked me to another account making a refund and wont look into it furthur now, nothing other than my name putting me with a refund i did for some airpods 2 years ago. Looks like a bank charge back for me

Unfortunately, they would not budge at all. I had no prior history with them as well... Mangers kept saying, it was just the policy and they ask all there customers to contact the baank and there won't be a stand off. They were dicks tbf... Just went to the bank and got my money back today... I don't understand how anyone else has SE'd them, for such a big company they are stuck up asf.

As you've mentioned, It depends how effective the SE Is formulated and executed.
