This is an interesting one - managed to SE airpods from a website and they said they would process the refund, its been a couple days and i still havent had the money back yet.
Just sent them an email explaining how ive called in and they said they would process a refund yet it hasnt come. They've replied saying wait 24-48 hours for them to sort it out.

Has this happened to anyone else? They say they would process the refund yet it never comes, so technically i have not completed the SE yet

That happened to me with Argos and Next and I failed them. You better just hope it wasn't a noobie that said they'll give the refund

Most likely its your banks processing time. Its illegal for a company to lie to their costumers, regardless of whats on their TOS (terms of service). Do not for once believe that the companies are above the law.

This is currently happening to me with bestbuy. I used a wrong item method with a 2080 GPU and the two times that i have called they said to just wait for the refund until my credit cards next billing cycle (which i believe was yesterday) but ive yet to see anything. I then called again today and the lady said that their team that deals with that stuff still has the case open and that i should just wait a little longer basically. So i am not sure what to expect but i have the card here with me ready to return in case they try to screw me over.

It was on the phone, sounded like a young girl so she could easily just be inexperienced in the field and possibly messed something up, hopefully this week ill have a response from the relevant department and the refund will go through.
