Heard they're pretty easy to SE but what's the best method?

It's a cheap & light item that they delivered tracked but not signed for.

I ordered an Apple TV and iPod done collection at a near by Sainsbury's. Done a partial for the ipod. I was told I would get a refund then they changed their mind because there was "proof" which is them having knowing it was scanned at the dispatching warehouse. I'm currently in a PayPal dispute

What's the Item In question, Inclusive of It's exact weight?

If It's light enough not to register a weight on consignment, the "missing Item" method will suffice. Given there's no signature required on receipt of goods, the DNA Is best suited. Do note that just because an Item Is tracked and marked as delivered, by no means does It conclude that you personally received It.

NGL I don't think refund jobs are generally done by logic. They either work or they dont. Zalando is a great example of a company that has nothing to do with logic or weight.

It's not a matter of logic, but rather following company protocol with claims management.

Companies "do" cross-check details, hence countless threads requesting assistance due to an Investigation opened as a result of weight Inconsistency.

I am going to focus on one word you said. PROTOCAL. Not is all as it seems when it comes to terms & conditions. If it was I would gotten my refund from Argos. Their terms & conditions state "We're sorry if the parts in your order are missing or wrong. Just get in touch and we'll put everything right..."
Well if this was true it wouldve worked. I was even told I would be given a refund then her manager declined it later on and said she wasn't following procedure.
This is why I now think some companies work and some simply don't.

You were not adamant, and did not push your SE hard enough to obtain a refund/replacement. In fact, they SEd "you", by not being complaint with their terms.

Terms & conditions are there for a purpose- to fulfill claims as stated.

Believe me I did and then I was told to PayPal dispute the payment as everything on their system is telling them it was delivered.
