In terms of the weight, as a rule of thumb, every ml Is the equivalent of 1g so 100ml = 100g. You can also opt for the DNA or wrong Item received method.

Do you think it’s risky at all using the DNA method with DPD special next day delivery? I think it requires signature too. Which do you suggest from experience DNA or wrong item received?

Given It requires a signature, they'll most likely open an Investigation and cross-check with the carrier.

I'd go for the wrong Item received method.

I think it does but im not 100% sure, if it doesnt require a signature do you think i should opt for the DNA method?

Wrong item received is always the best way to go IMO. They will always investigate the DNA method where as they can't really prove that they did not give you a wrong item.

DNA will take longer and you have a valid chance that they will investigate and put it in their favour with nothing you can do.

If there's no signature required nor any other form of proof of delivery (photo taken), as far as you're concerned, you didn't receive It. So yes, on these grounds, the DNA method will work. I still prefer the wrong Item received method, though.

Just remember that the delivery of a package, Is not the same as personally receiving It.

It has arrived today and ive ordered another cologne that the same website stock, same amount of liquid 100ml. Should i contact them right away and say that i have received the wrong one? the reason why i ask is because the decoy cologne that i ordered will come monday so do you think i should start the process now regardless? or wait until the decoy cologne arrives.

thanks for the advice

It's human nature to Immediately open a package when delivered, so contact them shortly after It arrives.

By the time they forward their request and you act upon It, your other cologne would arrive.

In the packaging there is a receipt showing the order date, name, perfume ordered etc....
If they ask about the receipt should i say i received the correct receipt? with the correct cologne on the receipt but the cologne received was different? or should i just say that there was no receipt entirely?

A quick update guys just got off the phone with them i said that the wrong cologne was in the box along with some bs about being stressed out that i wont be able to get another one in time to give to my dad for his birthday. Overall the rep was very helpful and said just send it back and ill send a refund to your paypal upon dispatch.

Congratulations Himar!

So they'll send you a refund once you've dispatched the order back to them? They're not even going to wait for your parcel to arrive? That's pretty cool.

I'm surprised they were so easy to SE.

I may try the 'wrong item received' with a Galaxy Tab S4, as I've always wanted one but refuse to pay £500+ for a tablet.
