Coming back from the dead (or so it seems) has made me think about some things including the lack of intelligent people in this world and especially in this forum. I'm going to be blunt, but since Feb/March this forum has been nothing but people wanting free stuff, and that's completely fine, but the way some of the users on the forum are going about it is just ridiculous. Simply asking questions, and lurking without contributing or even experimenting yourself!

The fact of the matter is, social engineering is as easy as it's going to be for a long time. So I am waiting for other members contributing before I fully return. Or at least until I see a member try and help to restart this community. Social engineering isn't following some tutorial off of the internet in order to benefit yourself, it is about experimenting and finding your own methods.

I hope I wasn't too harsh with this post, but I felt I needed to take responsibility and hopefully kick start this back up.

If I have advise for anyone out here is, too always keep an open mind and EXPERIMENT and CONTRIBUTE.

Also, you've got to realize that no matter what you do there's going to be leeches. If you're giving handouts everyone is going to want something. There's always going to be less producers than there are consumers.

Lack of "intelligence" is what I see daily on these forums. Stupidity and not thinking if it's against the rules or not. This is also outside of the technology world of mine, it's ridiculous.

Well, I can highly agree with this! This is somewhat part of the reason no one has seen me in quite some time. I don't always have time to get online, but the times that I have, I just haven't simply because I know when I come back, this is all I really see and I don't really have an interest in it. I really hope that I can come back very soon, I want to try to come back so bad because SL is like home to me, and there is a really great and amazing community behind all the one time posters or lurkers...

The equation Is pretty simple- Ignore such matters.

So I am waiting for other members contributing before I fully return.

I love most of the staff members and some of the members. But there is a reason you don't buy a box of apples only to get 5 good ones.

Aside from that, the staff are great, the layout is great and frankly, it's the only option for social engineering with proper members.

I hope people open their minds and try and do things themselves instead of leeching.

If you do as everyone else does, you will be like everyone else.
