If anyone has something that worked recently, I'd gift you a few steam games.
And on ebay germany there's quite a few big sellers like NBB, computerunivverse others, official asus store too, might be different elsewhere.
I just read on a previous thread that ebay usually sides with the customer, but stuff like that changes all the time...
Ive been thinking about dpd dna too, since they have a bad reputation.
Bought a computer off amazon, took the GPU (4090) and replaced it with a low end GPU bought for 200$ on marketplace.
it's been a year and haven't heard about it.
Amazon are fucking lazy with returns... I have returned an harry potter lego castle (6000 pieces 500$ cad worth), I had it for 4 years and everyone I know builded it, many missing pieces, box in very bad shape. So I bought another one on amazon and returned the old one lol. never heard about it.
There is much more opportunity to this SE thing than just claiming DNA or some other form of it.
I've done a few things like that, though returning a computer for 4k or more would def be checked by them normally.
I'd say that's luck.
Just swap the PCB, its easy.
Buy a low end GPU, which got 3 Fans
Take out the PCB, put it in the 4090 case.
Reseal everything, call it a day

Doesn't this require soldering?

What would happen if you skipped the return and instead claimed to have been sent the wrong GPU in the right packaging? Would that be a more difficult SE than returning a dud item?

The problem with this, I assume you mean buying a low end model from the same manufacturer, that the weight is totally different.
I guess soldering on a different cooler might be the best variant, since you coud claim it is manufacturing issue, and an unskilled worker would never notice.
What about LIT though, does this work with DLH or DPD in Germany right now? It seems like the most "easy" method, that I never tried.

Even better, do FTID. Ebay will side with the buyer by tracking. Make sure it's a big seller though.

Thanks, anywhere where i can read more about FTID?
In Germany, specifically, DHL.
If anyone knows a bit more, PM me, I'd be willing to gift some Steam stuff or whatever for a bit of real help.

Dont do it bruder
This wont end up good. Du bist gesetzlich immer noch dazu verpflichtet entweder die Ware oder das Geld zurückzuschicken
Paypal ist kein rechtsweg!!!
IF you do this: then please consider doing it on fake paypal account and dont cash it out on your bank account!

I thought FTID places the fault with the carrier?
Or am I wrong here?
I was talking to one German fellow here, ShadowK but he got banned for some reason

It does, but carrier find out fast. After a gründliche Überprüfung, wirst du in arsch gefickt.
