Only ever tried reporting  missing elements, went very smoothly. I'd suggest to aim for a set which contains expensive pieces and just pick a bag that would be missing from the box.

So you tell them a bag is missing from the set and they refund the whole order?  Don't they just send replacement pieces?

OK, so let's say you order a train set and you say the tracks were missing, they refund half the order or what? I don't know much about lego
