Let's say I ordered a steam deck and my account got banned after claiming DNA what am I supposed to do? How do I get it Returned?

Was the steam deck a successful SE? Did you log into the steam deck and have your account banned? Or was your account banned after submitting a claim to CS for DNA?

The se was not successful it was banned mid claim. I never even powered on the device that's a rookie mistake

I Think They Suspected That His Item Was Stolen And Being Used Since He Claimed A "DNA" Without Even Waiting SE Result , Would Be Really Annoying If He Claimed The "DNA" After Logging With His Main Account Into The Steam Deck .. Such Items Oculus/Steam Decks Cannot Be Turned On When SE'ing Them , At Least He Could Use A Fake Account To Really Put The Idea That His Item Is Really With Someone Else .

That doesn't work I don't know what it is but you can sign up with your device on a VPN completely separate information etc and they will deny your claim I'm not sure about with Steam but I've seen other companies do this it's best to just not turn it on at all

To me this sounds like a very easy chargeback win. Customer service not even interested in assessing a claim. Just annoying that it's the long way round

Probably but I don't really want to waste the charge back on this do you know how I should contact steam

had a look through Reddit and Steams own forums, doesn't appear to be any other way to contact Steam other than through a ticket. which you obviously can't do now since they banned your account.

can you not make a new one, reference the order number and say this is the only way you can contact them as the account that ordered it has been incorrectly banned?

Didn’t you say you used a prepaid credit card? AFAIK, you definitely cannot chargeback on those even if you wanted to

Ahh, got it. You said disposable so I assumed that meant pre-paid. Haven't heard of Revolu.

@FBI how everything went out? As far as I did a research. They have some kind of security system and if you are on a new account, then your order could be cancelled and you should be refunded. But there is not much information what to do if you your account gets banned after claiming DNA when you receive the Steam Deck.
