question about sealed box method 07-02-2023, 04:51 AM

Hello, I've spent the past couple weeks lurking here, researching various refunding methods and applying them. All I've done so far was the DNA and empty box method a few times.
I'm about to test FTIDv3 with a $40 lamp, and I'm combining it with the sealed box method. My plan is as follows:
1. get a shipping label
2. change the address of the shipping label to a random business near the store
3. fill the original product box with pebbles, to match the correct weight
4. send out the box with the ftid
Question: Why do people use dry ice rather than sand, or pebbles, or fake phones/laptops?
