it looks like someone opened the box, took the consolle and put in the bottles.
I don't know of anyone who'd have 3 bottles of water on hand - there's no reason to for personal use.

Go for one bottle.

But the consolle weights 4.45kg, one bottle is just 1,5kg….they will register a low weight from the beginning….(even on the label you can read “5kg”)
I thought that a driver stays out all the day for work and so could have a couple of bottles with him in a backpack (i saw one of them eating a sandwich on his van 😄), or stop and buy them everywhere (this is maybe the more realistic)
Or bring bottles with him on purpose to do this thing.
Or someone that works in a warehouse could even take them from the trash bin and refill in the bathroom maybe…
One bottle is more realistic but there is a weight problem….

Think he's using 3 bottles to match weight with the xbox.
I doubt one bottle can match 4.45kg haha!

Exactly, 3 full bottles are exactly the xbox series x weight.
I also took off the labels from the bottles to make them more anonymous ahah 🤔

There are 4kg+ water bottles available.

Your approach may work, but do expect a lengthy claims process.

Here in italy i’ve never seen 4kg bottles, standard are 1,5 or max 2 litres.
Waiting is not a problem Smile
I think they will open an investigation with the carrier and mail me that there wasn’t a consolle inside, then i will just insist that i sealed and labeled the box and give it to the guy at the Ups reception, and then wait for microsoft’s decision, right?

It's almost certain that an Investigation will be opened.

Either that, or they'll decline your claim from the get-go.

But then it’s no more a “normal” object than anyone could have on/hand 😁

Other things i was thinking:
-one could say: why taking away a broken consolle?(you can read return on the label). And the answer here could be that the guy dind’t know that the consolle was broken/didn’t read well the label, or that he wanted to get a free repair on it later.
-could there be a way to not ship the consolle? For example….i told my mother that consolle is broken, i request repair (but she didn’t know that) and she trew the consolle in the trash when i was not at home, and so i can’t return, but i don’t know if microsoft accept this…
-i’m not inclined to use dry ice method because i need to get dry ice first😂, i fear that smoke could get out of the box and be noticed, the box could get strangely cold, or if the box is sealed it could build up pressure with the gas and “explode”? And if the box is weighted more times trought it’s journey the weight will strangely change as ice is melting….

Use dry Ice.

Be sure to accurately calculate the sublimation time for both storage and transit.

What makes it long? Investigations? What do they investigate if so?
It's not the dry Ice that potentially makes It a long process - they obviously have no Idea It was used.

You should be questioning "boxing".
